Unlimited build volume for big ideas
The most striking feature of the brand-new A2L is its expansive build volume of 330 x 320 x 325 mm. With a volume 105% larger than that of conventional 256 mm standard machines, it offers plenty of space for ambitious projects.
- No more compromises: print large cosplay props or enclosures in one piece, without having to laboriously split components.
- Efficient batch production: produce high volumes in batch printing for lifestyle, model-making or RC projects in a single run.
Maximum stability against ghosting
With so-called ‘bed-slinger’ printers, surface quality often suffers as models become taller or heavier. The new A2L solves this physical problem with two groundbreaking innovations:
- Adaptive Vibration Compensation: This exclusive, adaptive algorithm performs real-time multi-point calibration that precisely adjusts to the increasing weight of the print bed and the position of the print head. The result is flawless surfaces and razor-sharp details from the first to the last layer.
- In-frame Granular Damper: Inside the large frame, two integrated granular dampers ensure that resonances and vibrations are mechanically absorbed. Unsightly defects such as ringing or ghosting are thus a thing of the past, even when the build volume is utilised to the maximum.
Intelligent protection and quiet operation
The A2L is fully automated. A physical nozzle clumping detector on the scraper detects the dreaded formation of material clumps (blobs) at the nozzle at an early stage, before damage to the mechanics can occur. In addition, the sensor architecture of the closed PMSM servo extruder scans the resistance at 20 kHz, enabling immediate detection of filament grinding, blockages or air printing. Despite this performance, the machine remains whisper-quiet at just 49 dB in Silent Mode.
More than just 3D printing: The 2D creative zone
Thanks to a standardised, modular mount directly on the front of the print head, the brand-new A2L can be expanded in no time at all. Two tool extensions are already available at launch:
- Blade Cutting Module: Transforms the printer into a precise cutting plotter for working with stickers, leather, vinyl or fabrics.
- Pen Drawing Module: Enables the drawing of complex vector graphics and plotter artwork.

Bambu Lab A2L Combo
The ultimate complete package for multi-colour printing. The new A2L is extremely flexible and expandable, supporting not only the AMS lite but also the closed 2nd-generation AMS (with integrated drying function). When connected in series, you can even achieve up to 19 colours for your large-scale projects.
