Description
The Bambu Lab H2D Laser Edition is an industrial manufacturing solution specifically designed for maximum material versatility and process reliability. Unlike the H2C series, the H2D features a dual nozzle system with two independently heated hotends. This enables seamless switching between different materials or colours without time-consuming purging procedures. In the Laser Edition, the system also offers complete infrastructure preparation for professional laser applications within a closed, secure housing.
Dual-nozzle system for multi-material printing
The H2D features a print head with two separate hotends. This is the ideal solution for complex prints with water-soluble support structures or for the combined use of rigid and flexible materials (such as TPU). As no filament changes are required within a single nozzle, material waste is minimised and print time is significantly reduced.
Extended build volume with active heating
With a build volume of up to 350 x 320 x 325 mm, the H2D offers the largest build volume of any Bambu Lab printer to date. Active chamber heating of up to 65 degrees Celsius ensures a stable ambient temperature, which prevents warping in demanding engineering plastics such as ABS, ASA, PC or PA.
Laser safety equipment
In the Laser Edition, the printer is factory-fitted with laser safety windows and an air assist system. Integrated door sensors immediately halt operation if the housing is opened during a laser job, whilst flame and temperature sensors ensure continuous monitoring.
BirdsEye 4K camera system
A high-resolution BirdsEye camera is installed for precise monitoring and documentation. This not only enables control of the 3D printing process, but is also essential for the exact alignment of laser engraving and cutting work, as well as for optical motion calibration.
DynaSense extruder with servo motors
The system utilises highly efficient permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) for precise control of torque, speed and position. This enables acceleration of up to 20,000 mm/s² and a printing speed of up to 1,000 mm/s whilst maintaining extremely high detail accuracy.
Please note that this is a description of the laser-ready version of the printer. The actual laser module (available in 10W or 40W versions) is not included and must be purchased separately to use the laser functions.
