Bambu PAHT-CF is a high-performance composite material consisting of PA12 (polyamide 12) and carbon fibres. By combining the low water absorption of PA12 with high-performance carbon fibres, Bambu PAHT-CF offers outstanding mechanical and thermal properties that are maintained even under wet conditions.
The high flexibility of Bambu PAHT-CF makes it an excellent choice for the production of technical parts such as functional prototypes, injection moulds and small-batch components. It enables the production of precise and durable components that meet the demanding requirements of various industries.
Note: PAHT-CF is an improved version of PA-CF (PA-CF has been discontinued).
Bambu PAHT-CF exhibits 50% lower water absorption compared to conventional PA-CF materials. As a result, it retains its outstanding mechanical properties and dimensional stability even in high humidity.
Compared to standard PA-CF, Bambu PAHT-CF offers significantly higher adhesion in the Z-layers. This enables it to withstand heavy impacts or loads without breaking or deforming.
Bambu PAHT-CF is characterised by an impressive heat resistance of up to 194°C. This makes it ideal for applications where printed parts are exposed to high temperatures without deformation occurring or strength being compromised.
Experience the future of 3D printing with the Bambu Lab AMS (Automatic Material System). All key printing parameters are stored on a handy RFID chip and can be easily read. No more fiddly adjustments – simply load your filament and start printing. Enjoy convenient and time-saving operation without complicated manual settings.
Bambu Lab’s filament system is designed around an eco-friendly and reusable spool design, reducing plastic waste by at least 20%. Bambu Lab places great emphasis on sustainability, and the packaging material has been carefully selected to minimise the use of non-recyclable materials. Further information on the spool design can be found here. You can also print the spools yourself – the relevant files can be found via this link.
Are you unsure whether this filament is right for you? The Filament Guide from Bambu Lab offers a comprehensive comparison of the properties, applications and printing requirements of our Bambu filaments. It is designed to help you select the material that best suits your individual needs.
