Furthermore, it is important to achieve excellent scans with fewer reference points, especially if the model is rotated during scanning or if there are several different views.
This is where the AESUB dice come into play.
AESUB dice can accommodate up to 11 retro-reflective 6 mm targets or even more retro-reflective 3 mm targets.
They are available with a built-in magnet or an M4 thread, and their bevelled underside minimises data loss.
These lightweight dice not only improve the efficiency of 3D scanning complex objects, but also reduce the reliance on reference points.
The magnet attaches quickly to metal surfaces and simplifies scan preparation.
For non-magnetic surfaces, you can attach the dice using the threaded version or the AESUB ScanKit.
