AESUB - Transparent - Scanning Spray

Properties of AESUB Transparent 3D Scan Spray:

AESUB Transparent is a new scanning spray that temporarily mattifies glossy surfaces with a transparent film. This allows optical scanners to capture not only the surface contours but also the colour values of the object being measured. As conventional scanning sprays create a white coating, it was previously impossible to capture colour information when using earlier spray variants.

AESUB transparent contains no pigments and is also free from harmful titanium dioxide. The spray produces a layer thickness of approximately 8 to 15 µm. The coating evaporates after about 4 hours without the need for cleaning. Similar to the other sublimating AESUB scanner sprays, AESUB transparent can be applied directly to the area to be scanned.

AESUB transparent is used in 3D scanning when, in addition to dimensions and contours, the colour information of an object is also to be captured. AESUB transparent significantly simplifies and speeds up the scanning process, particularly when reverse engineering complex parts with extensive colour information.

Reference points, such as AESUB dots, also adhere to the transparent matting layer and can be easily removed again after scanning.
