High precision when printing on the Z-axis
The use of a smooth PEI plate promotes improved precision on the Z-axis during the printing process and ensures increased accuracy and consistency in vertical alignment. These properties make the smooth PEI plate an excellent choice for printing components where high fit accuracy, precise alignment and tight tolerances are crucial.
Smooth and matt surface
By using a specially selected matt PEI film, the underside of the printed object is given a smooth and matt texture, which significantly enhances the overall appearance.
Compatible with various filaments
PEI offers the possibility of printing both common materials such as PLA, TPU and PETG, as well as high-temperature-resistant filaments such as ABS and nylon.
Note: Use adhesive to prevent the film from tearing, especially when printing with filaments other than PLA.
Reliable magnetic adhesion to prevent warping
The Bambu Smooth PEI Plate is equipped with a 0.5 mm thick spring steel plate that optimises magnetic adhesion. This effectively prevents warping, ensuring consistently high print quality in 3D printing. This feature proves particularly advantageous when printing larger models with filaments prone to warping, such as ABS, PC and nylon.
