Description
The AMS 2 Pro Feeder Unit is specifically designed to support the AMS 2 Pro when printing with multiple colours and materials. Ceramic-reinforced, wear-resistant bushings are fitted in each feeder inlet to better protect the inlet from wear caused by the filament during prolonged use.
Each AMS 2 Pro features 4 feeder units, with each feeder unit having its own motor and gears to actively feed the filament or rewind it onto the spool. The AMS 2 Pro feeder unit features a filament detection sensor. When a filament is inserted, the feeder unit automatically feeds the filament. If a filament needs to be rewound, the feeder unit drives the AMS 2 Pro’s active support shaft to rotate the spool for rewinding the filament.
