Filafarm - Switch System PolyPrint - UMS5

The FilaFarm Switch System is a print bed switching system for 3D printers (Fused Deposition Modelling).

Due to the constant development of new printing materials, the demands placed on print beds have risen sharply in recent years. New filaments increasingly require the use of complex print bed solutions.

The Filafarm Switch System enables the simple and instantaneous replacement of permanent printing plates or alternative printing surfaces.

The Switch System simplifies handling and ensures higher production rates.

The flexible Switch Plate can be removed from the print bed immediately after printing, allowing new print jobs to start straight away. Long cooling phases are no longer necessary.

This set contains the complete Switch System with a PolyPrint sheet featuring a satin-finished surface for the Filafarm Switch print bed replacement system, suitable for the Ultimaker S5.

The original PolyPrint permanent print plate with a satin-finished surface for your Ultimaker S5 creates the ideal conditions for professional 3D printing results.

PolyPrint is a satin-finished permanent print plate for professional 3D printing of polyamide (nylon) and water-soluble BVOH support material. Fibre-reinforced filaments such as PA-CF (carbon fibre) and PA-GF (glass fibre) adhere well and detach easily.

PolyPrint is supplied with a heat-resistant transfer adhesive layer for self-assembly.

When heated, FilaPrint develops a strong adhesive effect, giving the underside of the printed objects a smooth surface. After cooling, the adhesion diminishes and the end product can be easily removed from the printing plate.

The FilaPrint permanent printing plate requires no cleaning or post-processing and is impressively easy to use.
Thanks to the plug-and-play concept, it is ready for use immediately after installation. As the printing bed operates at comparatively low temperatures, the heating phases are also short, saving electricity. Furthermore, the material is flame-retardant and harmless to health, as no harmful resins such as phenol or epoxy were used in its manufacture.
