Vision-Assisted Encoder System – Ensures exceptional positional accuracy of 50 µm across the entire build volume. This enables perfectly dimensioned components for demanding applications and seamless assembly of complex multi-part projects.
DynaSense Servo PMSM Extruder – A specially developed, brushless servo motor with permanent magnets controls torque, speed and position with the highest precision. This in-house technology monitors extrusion pressure in real time, detects nozzle blockages at an early stage and prevents filament abrasion – for flawless surfaces even at high printing speeds.
Eddy-Current Nozzle Calibration – Automated X/Y offset calibration for dual-nozzle systems. Time-consuming manual adjustments are eliminated, enabling multi-colour and multi-material prints to be produced effortlessly and with high precision.
Smart Nozzle Camera – An AI-powered macro camera continuously monitors the extrusion at the nozzle tip. It immediately detects material build-up, filament deviations and printing errors such as blockages, air pressure or ‘spaghetti’ printing.
SOTA Filament Monitoring – A leading system for monitoring filament behaviour. 15 strategically placed sensors continuously track five key factors: feed rate, tension, filament tip position, the extruder’s thermal environment and dynamic extrusion pressure. This ensures a smooth material flow from the AMS to the nozzle.

Advanced material management
The redesigned Automatic Material System (AMS) perfectly complements the H2D technology and is available in two specialised versions:
AMS 2 Pro – Supplied as standard, it offers an integrated drying function and innovative electromagnetic vents that automatically switch between drying and storage modes. This efficiently resolves the conflict between effective filament drying and long-term storage.
AMS HT – Specifically developed for technical filaments, it enables drying at temperatures of up to 85 °C. In addition, a filament bypass system reduces feed resistance, which is particularly beneficial for fibre-reinforced, rigid filaments and soft TPU.
With the AMS 2 Pro, included in this article, you benefit from optimised material management and maximum print quality right from the start.
