The Mingda MD-400D is a professional high-speed 3D printer designed specifically to meet the demands of industrial manufacturing and prototyping. With its independent dual extruder system (IDEX) and a generous build volume, it offers a versatile platform for complex projects where speed and material variety are key. Thanks to its fully enclosed design, it is also ideally suited for printing technical filaments.

Independent Dual Extruder System (IDEX): At the heart of the MD-400D are the two separately controlled print heads. These enable four different operating modes: Duplicate mode for the simultaneous production of two identical parts, Mirror mode for symmetrical components, Two-colour mode, and Support mode for the use of soluble support structures. This doubles productivity and significantly expands the design possibilities.
High print speed and stability: Despite its large build volume of 400 x 400 x 400 mm, the printer achieves speeds of up to 500 mm/s. Robust mechanics and precise linear guides ensure that print quality remains consistent even at high speeds. This shortens development cycles and speeds up the production of functional parts.
Optimised for engineering materials: With a maximum nozzle temperature of 350 degrees Celsius and a heated build plate up to 110 degrees Celsius, the MD-400D processes a wide range of filaments. From standard plastics such as PLA and PETG to demanding materials such as nylon (PA), polycarbonate (PC) or carbon fibre-reinforced filaments, the system offers complete flexibility. The enclosed build chamber reliably prevents warping caused by draughts.
Intelligent automation: The system is equipped with precise 49-point auto-levelling, which automatically compensates for unevenness in the print bed and guarantees a perfect first layer. In addition, sensors ensure filament monitoring and a resume function following power cuts for maximum process reliability during long print jobs.
Clean working environment: An integrated air filtration system reduces emissions and odours during the printing process. This makes the MD-400D an ideal solution for use in offices, laboratories or workshops where clean air quality is important.
