Bambu PETG Basic is the ideal filament for projects that require greater durability than standard PLA, yet still need to be easy to print. It combines the best properties of PLA and ABS: the user-friendliness of one and the mechanical strength of the other. With its excellent impact resistance and weather resistance, it is the first choice for components that need to withstand everyday use or outdoor conditions.

High impact strength and flexibility

Unlike PLA, PETG is significantly less brittle. It possesses a certain elasticity that enables it to withstand mechanical stress without breaking immediately. This makes it perfect for brackets, enclosures or mechanical components that are under tension.

Excellent weather and water resistance

PETG is naturally water-repellent and has high UV resistance. This means that your prints will not become brittle or lose their colour, even when exposed to direct sunlight or in damp environments. It is the go-to material for garden tools, drone parts or outdoor equipment.

Glossy surface finish

The material is characterised by a natural high gloss. This gives your models a professional look and, in the case of transparent variants, ensures impressive light transmission. Layer adhesion is particularly strong with PETG, resulting in very stable components.

Optimised for Bambu Lab printers

Thanks to the integrated RFID chip, your Bambu Lab printer automatically recognises the filament and immediately loads the optimal print settings. This minimises set-up time and guarantees consistent results without manual fine-tuning.

AMS compatibility

The filament is supplied on a sturdy spool that fits perfectly into the Automatic Material System (AMS). This enables smooth multi-colour printing or automatic switching to a spare spool when the material runs low.
