X2D Combo

With the X2D, Bambu Lab heralds the second generation of its renowned X series. This printer retains the tried-and-tested compact form factor of the X1 and P series, but expands the possibilities with an innovative dual extrusion system. At its heart is the intelligent separation of model and support material, which takes your productivity to a new level.

Hybrid extrusion for flawless results – The brand-new X2D uses an additional Bowden extruder for the efficient feeding of support materials, whilst the main head processes the model material via direct drive. This combination makes it possible to print complex geometries with soluble or easily removable supports. Whether jewellery, home décor, toys or fashion accessories – the support structures can be removed effortlessly, eliminating the need for tedious sanding or scraping.

Intelligent management instead of technical barriers – The most important feature of the X2D is its ability to manage itself. The machine calibrates itself fully automatically before every start. During the process, 31 sensors monitor every step and compensate for deviations in real time. The principle is clear: a print is either perfect or the machine stops before errors occur. You select the model, click ‘Print’ and later remove the finished part from the chamber.

Active thermal management for technical materials – The enclosed housing offers two different thermal operating modes to cover a wide range of materials: Cool Mode: Optimised airflow and heat dissipation for standard materials such as PLA. Heat Mode: Active chamber heating up to 65°C combined with a nozzle temperature of up to 300°C for warp-free prints with ABS, ASA or nylon.

Clean, quiet and suitable for home use – With its enclosed, actively heated build chamber and a three-stage air filtration system (G3 pre-filter, HEPA H12 and activated carbon), the X2D is suitable for any environment. It captures particles and absorbs odours, meaning it can be operated without any issues in the office, studio or even the living room.

A seamless ecosystem – When you buy the X2D, you gain access to an integrated world. Bambu Studio, the mobile app and MakerWorld are not optional extras, but the core of the system. Filaments are automatically recognised, models come with validated print settings, and the entire community is geared towards simplifying the path to the finished object.
