Description

Polymaker - PolyLite ABS - 1.75mm

ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer) is a plastic that ranks among the most widely used materials in the world. The material is found everywhere in our everyday lives. From building blocks and lunch boxes to skis and snowboards, a wide range of everyday items are made from ABS. As a filament, ABS is particularly well suited for objects that require increased impact resistance and temperature resistance. The Chinese manufacturer Polymaker is one of the best-known and most successful premium manufacturers in the field of 3D printing filaments. The manufacturer’s PolyLite series offers outstanding quality at an affordable price. PolyLite ABS is produced using a special, mass-polymerised ABS resin which has a significantly lower content of volatile compounds compared to conventional ABS resins. It delivers excellent print quality with minimal odour during printing.

Applications of Polymaker PolyLite ABS

Polymaker PolyLite ABS is frequently used by private end-users to print a wide variety of everyday objects. Many brackets and handles are made from ABS due to its high impact resistance. The filament is also suitable for applications involving higher temperatures. The printing material is frequently used in toys, the automotive industry, mechanical engineering and for household appliances.

The V2 version is the new version, in which the filament is wound onto a cardboard spool. The material remains the same.
