PolyMax describes a range of filaments that the manufacturer Polymaker has enhanced using ‘Nano-Reinforcement’ technology. As a result, PolyMax PLA can be printed just as easily as standard PLA, but offers superior properties. It is more resilient and more reliable during printing.
The material offers up to 9 times the impact resistance compared to regular PLA and a 20% improvement compared to ABS. Thanks to "Jam-Free" technology, the material only softens in the hotend and does not clog in the feed tube.
These properties result in an easy-to-use material that produces excellent surface finishes whilst offering improved mechanical properties.
The V2 version is the new version, in which the filament is wound onto a cardboard spool. The material remains the same.
