TFC Release Vaseline Release Agent Vaseline Silicone - Silicone 50ml

TFC Release Vaseline serves as a release agent when making multi-part silicone moulds, separating silicone from silicone as well as silicone rubber from other materials and surfaces during the casting of original models.

Silicone mould release vaseline is applied thinly to the fully cured first half of the silicone mould during mould production, and the freshly mixed silicone for the second mould half is then poured onto it.
This prevents the two mould halves from sticking together.

TFC release vaseline is also ideal for protecting the original model during moulding with silicone rubber, to ensure the finished silicone impression can be easily removed and to prevent damage, e.g. adhesion and detachment of any paint applied to the original model.

TFC Release Vaseline is also important when taking impressions of materials that are still open-pored, such as plaster models without a sealed surface or unsealed wooden surfaces.
Here, TFC Release Vaseline seals the still open-pored surface, thereby preventing the applied silicone rubber from flowing into the pores and failing to release cleanly after curing.

TFC Release Vaseline is applied thinly with a brush.
Application is easier if the TFC Release Vaseline is warmed slightly before application.
